In the midst of the pandemic, the desire to find meaning amidst all the uncertainty and bleakness is always present. As usual art — whether visual art, music, photography or film — is often the way in which we are able to process and make sense of our situation, as well as contemplate what our lives will look like in an indecipherable future. The arts community in Singapore, and worldwide has suffered — what with the multiple restrictions on live performances and concerts — so it’s a blessing that galleries like Yeo Workshop are still continuing to curate and put up shows.
