Parallel to 你被我浪漫 Baby, You Got Me Rolling, which is inspired by Taoist deities, the Buddhist monk Budai is the central figure here. Known for his laughing face and round stomach, Budai is believed to be the incarnation of Maitreya, the future Buddha, who helps common people in the mortal world. Where Bodhisattva manifests in thirty-three forms, Wong draws attention to its hand of the Ruyi Pearl 如意珠手 rú yì zhī shǒu (Rainbolt Mani Bead), a wish-fulfilling jewel that contains all kinds of dharmas. Emitting a vibrant incandescence, this mani bead represents Bodhisattva compassion for the livelihoods of the people.
