As a black-coloured deity inspired by the Bodhisattva Guanyin, Oomoo embodies a symbol of compassion, connecting people with deeply spiritual ideas. At Oomoo’s foot is the Nine of Coins, also known as Nine of Pentacles in tarot reading, pointing towards an abundance of wealth, and self assurance in one's personal worth. At the same time, the coins remind us of the flow of currency, an equal give-and-take of possession and loss.
