Kuala Lumpur: NN Gallery in Ampang will be showing ‘XXV’ Part 2, an exhibition of paintings by Noor Mahnun Mohamed and open to the public from 7th until 31st December, 2010. ‘XXV’ marks the artist’s twenty-fifth year anniversary of her first solo exhibition in 1985 at Video Diva, Florence, Italy.
XXV Part 2 will showcase portraits of the artist's friends, still life studies and a continuation of the 'Permutation' pencil drawing series done in oil on canvas or linen as a body of works titled 'Pattern'. This exhibition is a selection of Noor Mahnun's recent paintings; trajectories of her dwelling on the idea of perception and memory.
