Yeo Workshop collaborated with 67 Pall Mall, a premier wine club, to organize a private tour of the extensive art collection of esteemed collector Krystina Lyon. The event welcomed members of the club who share an appreciation for art into Lyon’s home. As members sipped on wine provided by 67 Pall Mall, Lyon guided them through a comprehensive journey of contemporary Southeast Asian artworks, with a particular focus on pieces by female artists.
Lyon, who holds an MA in Asian Art Histories, is a passionate art historian and an advocate for emerging local talents, such as our ceramic artist Shayne Phua of whom she has shown strong support for. During the tour, Lyon and her husband, Mark Budden, shared their meaningful tradition of gifting each other fine art pieces on special occasions, reflecting their profound appreciation for art collecting.
The event intertwined the love of wine and art, offering guests an intimate glimpse into Lyon’s collection and inspiring prospective art collectors to embrace the practice of art collecting. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the couple for graciously opening their home and to 67 Pall Mall Club for facilitating this enriching experience with a delightful selection of wine for the evening.
