The artists for this edition takes into consideration the idea of random access memory, what in computational language refers to a computer’s short-term memory.
Random Access Memory (RAM) alludes to the transient setting of a billboard art exhibition, and at the same time, the idea of memories – personal or collective – and what we hold towards them.
The showcase asks: how can we contend with the fact that memory is malleable and transient?
If our memories are ephemeral, not unlike RAM, what are our most urgent personal and collective memories to remember or archive today?
